We are looking for a Class 5 driver to deliver pallets, boxes, boilers, and other materials using our truck. This is a full-time permanent position.
The incumbent will ensure that customer orders are loaded properly. The driver will follow the rules of the road and transportation standards. They will perform deliveries and unloading according to company standards and within the required time frame. Daily inspection of the delivery vehicle is required. They must also report any defects to their supervisor if the vehicle needs maintenance or repairs. The driver may also be required to perform other tasks such as placing merchandise, preparing orders, customer service, etc. Heavy lifting is involved. For those who like to stay active!
Basic qualifications:
- Be available and punctual
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Good driving record
- Good driving skills
- Good physical fitness
- Delivery experience
